Best Internet Connection for Online Gaming?
Fellow gamers I need your help. With my new Xbox 360, I need an internet connection at home (yes I'm in the dark ages). What is the best internet connection for XBox live? I'm thinking about hooking up with Qwest. I have two options for DSL speeds: 1.5 Megs vs. 7 Megs. Of course the highest speed is more expensive. But would the highest speed really make a difference or will I be okay with 1.5 megs?

I hate to say it but Comcast has been pretty dependable. I haven't tried playing over a DSL connection.

I've had very little difficulty with Comcast, and I'm online very often. Don't have any experience with Qwest.

i'd say go with comcast. I have NEVER had a problem with it. If there's been lag, it's been on the server side not on my side. even when the servers on WoW were heavily populated, i dont get a lot of lag. You might want to look there.
In terms of DSL... DEFINATELY get the 7 Mg. It will make a significant difference. If your going to be "harcore" gamer, you should get the full monty.

zoom is very good internet if anyone has armstrong cable, but Comcast is also very good, sometimes I get the connection error but rarely ever
