What's wrong with this sentence?
I won't say where this one came from, except to mention that it was in the body of a post here on the Fix. I've been sending it out to my GMAT students, who find it delicious.
Like other growing cities, Albuquerque's regional suburban development is ubiquitous.
My own grammar on this site is often crappy, so it's not like I hold the grammatical high ground here.

The problem is the dangling modifer "Like other growing cities." This phrase doesn't refer to anything in the rest of the sentence, or rather, it improperly modifies the entire phrase "ABQ's regional suburban development" instead of just ABQ.
To properly construct this sentence, say:
Like other growing cities, Albuquerque has ubiquitous regional suburban development.

Oooh -- I think so, since I could say something about the dust being ubiquitous to my house, no? Er, I mean the "enchantment".
dictionary.com: existing or being everywhere, esp. at the same time; omnipresent: ubiquitous fog; ubiquitous little ants.
