New Mexico Symphony Orchestra Chorus needs singers!

The New Mexico Symphony Orchestra Chorus, a nationally recognized volunteer chorus of approximately 90 singers, is holding auditions for all voice parts in
August. To audition, you don't need choral experience but you do need to be able to read music. Visit http://www.nmso.org/About/chorus.php for info.

The NMSO Chorus performs with the NMSO on major works that are part of the
orchestra's regular classics season. In 2008/2009, we'll be performing
Mendelssohn's Elijah, Beethoven's Missa Solemnis, and Mahler's Symphony No.
2, Resurrection.

In July 2008 the NMSO Chorus performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra at the Bravo! Vail Valley Music Festival, our third annual performance at the Vail festival and second with the Philadelphia Orchestra. The chorus will be returning to Vail in 2009 and 2010 to perform with one of the festival's resident orchestras.

To learn more about the NMSO Chorus and request an audition, visit
