Living in the moment.

Living in the moment.

Why did it take 45 years to become aware of the importance of living in the moment? That's not to say I haven't always kept 'the simple pleasures of life' near and dear, but I don't think I was consciously aware of the importance of each and every moment.

Perhaps it is the grace of age and experience that teaches us. Just the thought of that makes me excited about getting older. The older I get, the more moments I'll get to experience? Ok, I'm in.

I can think back to a younger less aware man and remember my subconscious thought was living in the moment. My conscious thought was thinking, "I doubt I'll live to be 30".

30 came and went, and I felt old. I felt like I was getting old and did. My body ached, I acquired degenerative illnesses, and each day was "how much fun can I have and still be a responsible adult?" I still had no plans to grow old.

So now at 45... I'm actually considering this is mid-life. Ok, so now what I'm I going to do as I grow older? The answer... Whatever I decide! It's so clear now... Life has blessed me with experience and awareness. I can and will make a difference. I can and will make things better around me. I can and will be a positive example to someone that needs to see the possibilities.

Every possibility is in every moment, it's what you chose to do with each and every moment.

There it is... The meaning of life… according to me.

How is the Mastermind group going? I wrote a post about starting one but I see there is now one already. What are the topics you cover?

I think someone told me that what I have is cane - but you can come over and see it. If you want to dig a nodule or two up, that would be fine. You can email me at beadwymn@comcast.net to set up a time - I have to be away tomorrow, but after that is ok.

well I dont know how to give gps info, but you certainly wont see it from 2nd. Go south on 2nd a little ways. youll pass the water consrevency and things. And keep your eyes open for a junky parking lot near what seems like a junkyard. This is on the rt hand side. Park in that broken down lot and walk towards the river suoth-like over the bike path. Once youre up and over the little hill youll see glass shimmering in the distance. Head towards it and start digging around. Youll want to bring a 5 gallon bucket or something for your treasures. Sunscreen and sun hats and a picnic. Enjoy it!
