I am a lifer. I grew up near Louisiana and Gibson so my Dad could walk to work at Sandia Labs. I have left a few times but always got sucked back. Got a Civil Engineering degree at UNM and am trying to do my bit to keep this place as wonderfully livable as it is.

I'm the other Pat OConnell. There's at least one more who lives/lived in the Rio Rancho area who's a psychic or a life coach or something New Agey like that.

I moved to Abq in 1985 (job, grad school), am in Minneapolis right now for a job, and hope to get back to the Duke City sometime soon, as my wife and kids still live there.
