Favorite Thing(s) About Albuquerque:: What's not to love (except for the cockroaches...)? Breathtaking sunsets, dry desert air, great art, lots of fun things to do. Plus, where else can you find frybread or frito pie almost anywhere, anytime. Heaven!

What I'm Listening To:: Robbie Robertson, Los Lobos, Juan Luis Guerra, Lyle Lovett, Liz Phair, mixed in with a little KANW and KUNM.

Thanks for your kind words! I actually hope to be offering tea classes and Taoism / Eastern philosophy classes through my studio as well. Keep an eye out for posts. Classes are cheaper when you take them directly through my studio, too! But I do enjoy going through UNM, as it always reached a broad range of people.

I once attended a cool Pablo Neruda celebration at a great bookstore on Venice Blvd in Santa Monica, where various local poets (many famous) read his works in Spanish, then as translations. It was so incredibly awesome. I'd love to see something like that done here in ABQ.
