You are close. The giant Jesus is just north of Cincinnati (one of the other Ohio C-towns) and viewable right from I-75. My grandparents live just down the road. At the same exit is the giant, anatomically-correct horse statue on top of the Trader's World flea market sign and a Hustler Store! Ain't the Midwest great?!?!

I was doing the audio visual for the city of Gainesville, Florida for awhile and although sometimes boring, those Council meetings were essentially to me getting conscious about the community. I'm glad you're putting all that info online as I believe so many people would participate in local government if they were a little better informed about it.

What is your position with the City? I know a guy by the name of David Quintana that works in the audio visual department I believe.

Anyway, as far as I can gleam you're really involved with local gov't. I'll be launching a community webpost... a little different from here, in a couple of months. It will feature a section on politics and current events with active members of the community submitting articles on whatever they're passionate about. Let me know if you'd like to contribute. Thanks.
