Don't cry about Thomas Kinkade

As everyone already knows...there will be a Thomas Kinkade Gallery in the neighborhood. I know many of our loyal customers, hard core Nob Hillers, hipsters, art afficianados and urban dwellers are upset by this news. Mariposa's metamorphosis.

Anyone growing up in Albuquerque is probably familiar with Mariposa. It opened in Old Town in 1974, and has represented New Mexico contemporary craft ever since. Mariposa made the decision to move to Nob Hill in 2000, and couldn't be better suited to the areas' vibe.
