livin life by the (rain) drop......Hello Autumn! xo

Profile Information

Where I Live:
an 1870's brothel in the Pojoaque Valley~
About Me:
shooting film, questioning, working, showing, pondering, working, pondering, shooting, sleeping, shooting while I am sleeping~
I dunno, this is always kinda difficult. I am intense, I am the Energizer Bunny of Creativity. This can be unsettling to some....wonderful projects everywhere! I find it comforting....
I am a grounded, earthy, wild-places and no-crowds kind of woman. It is raining here in the Valley this morning, OH MY GOSH, how I LOVE the rain!
Favorite Thing(s) About Albuquerque:
...that I lived there and "knew" it when it was still "virgin" in 1966 just moved w/ my parents from Western New York.~
Relationship Status:
Single
My Website:
http://www.oovu.com/oraclearts/
What I'm Reading:
Teachings of the Hopi
What I'm Listening To:
....I awoke to the sound of the RAIN! ahhhh........I only wish I could go walk in it, alas, off to work in Santa Fe. All of my love and memories of 11 years on the Oregon Coast walking on the beach in the rain and mist will carry me thru this beautiful day........I am so very grateful.
A week later: I am listening to the wild wind, El Viento Diable this year, worrying about my greenhouse and the baby lettuces and tomatoes I just put out after lovingly encourageing them thru the late winter to now....OK Wind, we have had ENOUGH.
Have Moby's "Play" on for background tune-age.

KING OF CALIFORNIA

Every now and then a movie comes silently along and kinda creeps into me. I try to always rent films I have not heard of or anything about. I am almost always pleased. This is how I felt about this quiet delivery of this potentially very difficult, though all too common, subject matter. It is a real sleeper. A Feel Good, a satisfaction deep inside, a Knowing, an "Uh-Huh". No violence, no sex, only one "f-word".....ahhhh....The acting in this teeny cast, superb. It is ultimately about love, hope… Continue

INTUITIVE/HEALER/PAINTER Creating "Focus" Pieces:
Over the last 20 years I have been asked to paint "focus" pieces of art for those going thru illness, sadness, grief, fear, that need healing. I have never considered offering this "friendship", this reaching out, this desire, for "hire" until this last recipient said "You Really Should, the strength within it, from it, is remarkable". Very recently a friend in Oregon had 2 radical mastectomies and in her time of need asked if I would create her a totem piece to focus on, to heal her, to guide her, to be the first thing she looked at upon waking & the last thing at night before the Dreamtime.
I created a piece from a dream she'd told me she'd had. A complete jpeg example will be sent to you so you can see what "I do" (though I create many other artforms as well). "Her" name is LONG WALK THRU TALL CORN. Long Walk is 24x30. I would be honored to speak with you and create a piece for you. The paintings range in price from $300-$800 and are created one at a time, for specific PURPOSE.
Can I help you? I would love to try. Go Well. PEACE
