I am not who you think I am, whatever that may be. Nothing on my outside defines me; Nothing in my past defines me. I am the sum of my passions. I joyfully weep when people prevail against prejudice and realize their true destiny. I champion the rejected and rush headlong against hate justified by gross misunderstandings of religious texts. I am an advocate on behalf of the forgotten and those too weak to defend themselves against a governmental collective mind which defines who is worthy. I stand arm in arm with the unjust, the beaten, the afraid, and the oppressed, daring the self appointed God police to touch my beloved ones. I am stronger than they think I am, more tenacious, more passionate than I have ever been in my life. I KNOW THE GREATEST FORCE ON EARTH IS THE POWER OF UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. That force is strong within me, and I will prevail.

Desert Gardeners Please Help

I'm ecstatic about the large cactus garden and huge potted cacti at our new place. We have two five foot tall barrel cacti in our entry greenhouse, and just off the patio is a large elevated garden of tree cholla, prickly pear covered in purple fruit, yucca and a beautiful and as yet unidentified succulent ground… Continue

Is America Ready for a Pin Up President?

Sarah Palin is a woman, yet she sure as hell is not Hillary Clinton. Somehow McCain missed the distinction. < McCain managed to put the entire focus of his campaign on his health yesterday. At 72, and having battled cancer four times, there is a big chance that his VP pick will assume to… Continue

The Bum

An inebriated man stopped me near our home and asked, "where am I?" I told him he was in downtown Albuquerque. He replied, "Oh, cool, I was born here; how is everybody?"

Hello,

I noticed that you wrote a bit about Tiny toen. I am trying to figure out how to get in touch or a hold of Tammy. I understand that its closed down but I would love to possibly see if I could buy or some of the installation. Drop me a line.

Cool. Thanks! Great pic from the church too. I love that art, but hadn't seen the south side mural, just the stuff facing 4th St.

Thanks! I've been trying to get Sophie to include the requirement that people should post reviews of the shows if they win tickets.

As you could see from the turnout, we need all the plugs we can get. Wanna write something and post your pic on the main page in response to the ticket giveaway thread?
