Hi Matt - thanks for your kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed reading my blog post - it is always good to hear from readers. And boy do I relate to the neighborhood watch - I'll never forget the time we street urchins threw avocados and figs at car tires and arrived home to find out that our parents knew what we'd been doing before we got home! Ouch.

Hi - thanks for your comment on the vespa discussion! I just couldn't believe that the guy was so 'forcefully' mentioned that people with kids shouldn't ride motorcycles. Oh well...like I said, to each his own.
