Professional by day / Fitness Instructor by night... I teach Core Conditioning classes - hence the Avitar "Cap'n Crunches".
I'm originally from "up north" - which is to say northern New Mexico (Taos County). I've been in Albuquerque since San Mateo/I-25 was the north end of town, and San Mateo was as easy a route out of town as the freeway!
I consider myself lucky to have learned to love and appreciate this city without leaving it for "greener pastures". So many friends have gone through that only to realize what an incredible city they left behind.
Favorite Thing(s) About Albuquerque:
The weather is perfect - not too hot (Phoenix), not too cold (Denver), not too dry (Vegas), not too humid (all of Texas)!. Albuquerque is big enough get lost if you want to get lost and yet small enough to stay in touch with the people you don't want to loose.
Relationship Status:
Single
What I'm Reading:
I need to get back to reading for pleasure - haven't done enough of that lately.
What I'm Listening To:
My music tastes vary, but tend to lean toward dance/techno/80s stuff. I love Erasure. Same goes for Allison Moyet/Yaz/Yazzoo - her voice still to this day sends me to my personal "happy place"! Other artists in the ipod include Queen, Pet Shop Boys, REM, Indigo Girls, The Boss, George Michael, Meatloaf, and Frankie Goes to Hollywood - with a wide variety of other artists to round out the collection. I have quite a few discs that still need to be uploaded before my entire collection is in the iPod - wish I had a personal geek to do it all! Not much into jazz, country or classical, but do listen to them occasionally.
