Near Cliff's, I-25, Arroyo del Oso Golf Course. Is that considered NE Heights?
About Me:
Moved to the Duke City from the Detroit area. So far, I'm loving it here...
Favorite Thing(s) About Albuquerque:
Sandia Mountains, the folks, the climate, the economy...things that are not like Michigan.
Relationship Status:
In a Relationship
What I'm Reading:
I honestly don't read too many books/novels (things that are over 20 pages long)...most of my reading is on-line (Wikipedia, Salon, yahoo.news, fark) or through periodicals (our very own Alibi, Paste, Adbusters, Blender, Seed, Time, etc.). I'm slightly ashamed to admit it but I will infrequently pick-up my g-friends In Touch or People. Mostly just to look at the photos though....they're shiny...
What I'm Listening To:
The Go! Team, Bran Van 3000, Paramore, The Polyphonic Spree, The Beatles, The Thievery Corp., Fall Out Boy, David Holmes, Goldfinger and other things that don't sound like mating whales. As a general rule I usually stay away from most Rap and Country...

I've noticed a lot of midwesterners tend to migrate out this way... think it's because it's the total opposite of metro Detroit- in weather, population, and attitude.
Which part of Detroit? I grew up in Dearborn, then lived by WSU for six years.
I am planning on transferring to UNM and super excited about it. We just had 20 inches of snow here in Milwaukee....all in one day. Ew. I am coming out to visit the campus during March and I am excited for a break from the cold.
Any tips on the city from an outsider point of view? Such as good coffee places or such...
