Frontier Owners Didn't Contribute to Prop 8

Fear not, Burquenos, if you support gay marriage you don't have to stop eating Frontier rolls. It all started with Jim Baca writing that the owners of Frontier and Golden Pride were on the list of Prop 8 donors. (He later retracted the comments, see below) Duke City Fix freaked out that the gay marriage ban opposers at the blog would need to… Continue

A First Timer's Account of the DNC

Going to a national political convention is unlike anything else. Everywhere one turns, there are stories ready to be and interesting characters to interview. In other words, to call it a carnival would be a gross understatement. Third Congressional District candidat… Continue

hey there,
thanks for posting to the SFR voting story on your site. I really appreciate it. It's my hope that the story will help the public understand some of the issues--but beyond that, I'm really hoping that it might provide a jumping off point for other journalists, bloggers, citizens, etc. to continue looking into election issues in New Mexico. It's way too important of an issue, and I'd hate for us all to be scratching our heads after Nov's election day and wondering what happened. Again.

Let's talk if there are particular ways you'd like to get involved here that aren't obvious or accessible.

Glad you're here.
