Where I Live:
University area
About Me:
I am a finish out designer for residential remodels and new homes. I am inspired by tile and spend lots of time looking at faucets, fixtures, lighting, hardware and cabinets. I love what I do, and feel very lucky that I get to make some money doing what I love.

I am married to my best friend, Erik. We have a house and yard that we could work on full time for the next five years, but it's got "lots of potential!"

I am a 4th generation New Mexican. I grew up in Placitas, then took off to Colorado and California after graduation, then the Land of Entrapment dragged me back with my husband in tow!
Favorite Thing(s) About Albuquerque:
You can be who you are, most people here don't care what that is, I can talk to people in grocery stores and they don't freak out, and I could start my own business.

Married

Oh Giant yard and Giant House

Almost 2 years ago my hubby and I bought this giant house on a huge lot in the UNM North Golf Course neighborhood, with the dream of it someday being Grand Central Station for us and our future children. In truth, it is ridiculously oversized for two people, but I'm a contractor and designer, and I couldn't help but see loads of potential both for our family and as an investment. As I look out over our almost half an acre in the middle of town, and our giant basement with room for activities, a… Continue

Do you wanna be on Foodie TV?!

I know there was a post a few days ago about Sophia's being on 'Diners, Drive-ins and Dives' and I responded to say that I knew the show would be filming at The Standard Diner on Central as well. Today I got a call from one of the owners of The Standard, telling me to invite all my friends to come to lunch tomorrow (Thursday 8/21), and be in the background for filming. I guess they're starting filming in the morning and will continue throughout the day. The restaurant opens at 11 am and if you w… Continue

Hi! Talk to me about your work. Do you have a website? I co-founded a real estate group (we're located here, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles) and our, modis operandi (so to speak) entails renovating under-performing multifamily projects in high-profile neighborhoods in order to push rents/maximize value. I love the few tile pics "powder", etc... and wanted to know what something like that costs (what you could get ten units done for, timing, etc...

Your work is amazing. I love your choice of tiles, rock, and placement. You pick great doors, I don't know if they are custom but they are awesome. Love the antique teak entry way, and the choice of counter top in the home site, kick ass. I like that you go with natural wood alot, one of my favorite things about houses, and your varied lighting nothing to harsh but many different lighting options. Colors look great and you have a great nack for fireplaces and showers. I love the detail you put into it, fixtures, doorknobs, drawer knobs, faucets and inset fossil..................badass. I plan on being a millionaire someday so you'll definantly get me house to work on. Good stuff, I'll recommend you to everyone i talk to.
