Update: The EPC deliberated over the Great Streets Plan and requested an updated draft for further consideration at their study session in August. I am not going to be able to attend the meeting but before I make up my mind on the subject, I would like to know a little bit more than "Urge the EPC to do what my organization wants". Do you have any information regarding why the EPC has turned down these street plans in the past? Do you have any information on the original project? Has the project been reorganized, re-planned, re-structured, or gone through negotiations since it's inceptions? What will the costs of the project be to the taxpayers? What will the costs of the project be to businesses surrounding the projects? What will the costs of the project be to the future of Albuquerque?

It is a good program and I don't want to see it defeated by a couple of neighborhood associations. I am going to try and get to the meeting but may not be able to. All we can do is cross our fingers.
