Grateful

Being grateful is something I have been focusing on lately. Grateful for who I am, where I live, and especially grateful for the opportunities of an instant burst of happiness that just seem to pop out of the air sometimes. I can vote. Twice!

I have a cousin who used to live on the westside. She lived here for 10 years. Two years ago her husband died and she moved back to NJ. Being a responsible voter, she registered to vote in her new location. A few weeks ago she complained to me, (we're from NJ...that's what we do), about the calls she is getting from candidates she assumed were in NM since they weren't people running in her neck of the refineries. Upcoming Bond Issue A

General Obligation Bonds are voted for by the public, and paid for with increases in our property taxes. Bond Issue A is for Senior Citizen Facility Improvements. I am all for that since I think it is a good thing, and I will be a senior citizen sooner than I like to think.
