Hi! April,
If you are still interested in craft stuff, please join us for a Potluck and we can trade or buy crafting supplies. Best of all you can meet "other crafty folks".

Look forward to seeing you at my home!

Warmly,
Florence

Hello..I wanted to respond to your question about the painting. you should be able to gesso over it or just put a coat of acrylic over it. Even if your painting with oils- i would put one coat of oil paint over it. it should be great!

Maaaaaan, tonight is bible study small group night -- it's from 6:30 - 11p.m. Can you believe that?? that's a looooong time - goes by fast though...the group is young and very welcoming....and they're not all "praise thou, art thou" I'd go crazy if they were. It's basically hang out time that starts off as dinner-making, dessert-baking, eating, conversations, bible verse-reading, and then reflection time where we break off into smaller groups and then discuss what we just read. I really like this church....just wish I had more of a spiritual/religious foundation. I'm always lost...... I've been reading this book by Bruce Wilkinson called "The Dream Giver" -- this author also wrote "The Prayer of Jabez."

I'm at a point in my life where I need to regurgitate only good things --- 'cause there's just too much negative stuff surrounding me. I hope that I can find peace soon. I am looking OLD!!! :-(

I've gotta get back to work but I just wanted to let you know briefly what's going on this week in my sick, sad world. :-S

Later woman!

Hey, there.

Fun? Oh, yeah, I remember now. ;)

I like going to the movies, reading, getting out of town (especially up north), music. I run and go to yoga classes, too. Sometimes, I like to play cards or board games, and bowling is fun, too. Museums are always cool.
I don't like to go to the mall or to cockfights.

You?

Nope, I don't mind at all.

We're you at the web geeks gathering last night?

i'm on call for work this weekend because some shtuff hit the fan Friday with one of our projects. i was up working until midnight last night -- at least i'll get overtime but MAN, i feel like i'm running on empty. good thing i have a work laptop -- need to be able to do things from home. i would hate to be stuck indoors while the sun is shining so brightly outside.

i hope you have a blast up north! that sounds like a lot of fun! why do they call it red river -- is it because of the mineral deposits and soil or have people seen it blood red? i think i have seen way too many scary movies these days...

i do want to see the incredible hulk this weekend. i saw hancock last weekend. eddie wants to see hellboy, too. we shall see.

okay, well i better eat breakfast --- my stomach is cannibalizing itself.

later woman!

i finally went to bed around 1 a.m. or so. nearly freaked myself out imagining spirits in my living room (how ironic) anyways, i have been watching way too many zombie movies and paranormal shows (tru calling and ghost hunters) so i guess my brain is warped. i'm so tired this morning! neeeed cofffeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

man, i wish you lived here!

this week has been a lot better as far as adjusting to the department being as small as it is now. funny thing is: all the work is done and done faster. guess there were a lot of distractions when you have other people just wasting space. i miss this one girl, renee, though. she was cool to be around...and she actually did a fair share of the workload. i don't know why they let her go -- she was trying to move over to the CADD department...she's a 25-year-old wife and mommy. i think this weekend we're going to the Virginia Living Museum with her son, if weather permits. Last time I was there, I took Maryann :-( gosh, I miss her....miss my sisters....wish we weren't so distant with one another. you're lucky that your family is so close. you really are :-J

can't sleep tonight. i hate my damn '70s retro waterbed already. gives me back pains and restless sleep.

hey, if you're into Ghost Hunters International -- it's back on tomorrow (tonight, when you get this). yeeaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

'til tomorrow, vee
