I got to meet Ando Shinji and Takahiko Hayashi, both amazing artists!

At my new job I had the pleasure of getting to know an amazing artist from Japan. I must admit I was a little nervous about meeting Ando. I am a student at the University of New Mexico studying Fine Arts and Art Education. I am still trying to find my path in life and Ando is an established working artist and professor. All I knew about him before we met was his beautiful artwork. I was not sure what to expect when I first met him and when I finally did his presence was comforting. Ando came to… Continue

Ja--I am lost in the land of books. Or maybe it is the land of awaking at 5 am, plus the land of soccer.
How is tings wit you?
Sorry I missed the opening!

Hey Tanya,

I hope you and your family are well. Andrew is currently going through Kai withdrawal (this morning, he told me that Kai was his best friend), and I was hoping we could try to find a time in the near future to get the kids together. Are you guys going to the DCF get-together? Let me know, and we'll try to work something out. Take care.

Ray is still Ray, but in a different venue. I am glad that you and Khan have become acquainted, in a disembodied, abstract way.
I'll see you Sunday in the Belly of the Beast, at about High Noon.

(Have you read the Series of Unfortunate Events?)

(I wonder if Khan has)

I actually don't think we've ever met.

Oh, but I know all about you, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

(No, actually, I'm a previous NGPW&G person & a friend of Ray's & Rob's. I was Paul before Paul was Paul, though I hear that even Paul isn't Paul anymore, at least around there. Cheers & congratulations on being the new Ray!)

Your kid is so cute! Hope all is going well after one week in your new job. Let me know if anything needs explaining, especially any personalities.

Tanya, just wanted to let you know my son will start with Laurie next week. Thanks again, and I look forward to meeting you (your son, by the way, is adorable!).

Hey Tanya!
Life is fabulous! Still at Fastsigns (I think I'm going to be there forever - or at least it feels like it sometimes), I'm also starting a co-op gallery - so life is busy to say the least. Will and Katie are both doing awesome - so's Chris.
Speaking of the co-op - we're looking for consignors - do you have any work you'd like to put out there?? If so, let me know! We have a projected opening date of 9/1.
Peace,
Raine
