Ha! No quid pro quo on the Comcast kudos. But the funny part was that I just got a bill that featured a $35 monthly rate increase! I was pissed. They told me my free (instead of $30 a month) Digital Voice package was over. Bummer. I'm gonna have to call them and pretend i'm gonna get Dish and see if they call my bluff.

I smile everytime you mention Billerica. They were my high school's rival (including the Thanksgiving Day football game-- a great New England tradition) and the way we all said "Bilricka" is a source of endless happiness for me.

Hey Doug
The Federal Government physical year just started, so they have opened up a lot of Fed Jobs at usajobs.gov for albuquerque. If you found any you liked you should start applying now, because it takes them about 6-8 weeks to schedule interviews. Get in before the Federal Freeze !

It looks like we'll overlap some, then! I return to my DC/NM commuting lifestyle on January 17. We will make it work!

Hang in there...

Hi Doug - I've been crazy busy here with work and travel. I had a half minute in the Bay Area to myself - rescheduled my Fremont talk and spent all of my time in Oakland. So no Las Posadas this year, huh? There will always be next year and the year after that...

I hope it all works out for you in January. Depending on when in January you move, I may have a chance to meet you and your wife for coffee. how's she feeling these days? Keep me posted.

Btw, have you ever looked at Despair's demotivator calendars? My all time favorite was "no single drop of water thinks it is responsible for the flood."

It seems like http://www.nmsea.org/ has the latest on Solar thingies in New Mexico. I went to the Green Drinks event last month and one of their representatives was there handing out fliers.
