Hey JoAnne! I figured you were probably crazy busy :o) The Beaujolais Dinner was fabulous! My god...the food, the wine....we're already planning on attending next year's dinner.

Not sure what's going to work in terms of a meet-up for December. I know that's a busy month for most people. Let me know how your December is looking and perhaps we can squeeze something in. David and I are planning on having a wine party sometime during the month but we're not sure yet. If we don't have the party in December we will then probably have it sometime in January. Tentatively we're looking at Dec. 23. Would that work for you and the girls? Let me know.

Hey JoAnne! I just made reservations for David and I for the Beaujolais Nouveau wine party at La Provence on the 20th. It would be great if you, Angela, and Charlotte could attend. They are having 2 seatings - one at 6 pm and one at 8 pm. The seating is pretty much full for 6:00 so we reserved for the 8:00. Hope you can make it!

Hi JoAnne! Friday the 21st is not good. David works until 7:30 pm on Fridays :o( Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays are usually best as he is off on those days. Not sure how well that would work for anyone else.

Also - have you picked up the latest Alibi? A restaurant called La Provence is having a 3 Course Dinner to celebrate the 2008 Beaujolais Nouveau wine that we told you about. It's $35 per person and it includes soup or salad, an entree, and dessert along with 2 glasses of the Beaujolais Nouveau. Is that something you think our little group would be interested in doing? They have 2 seatings - one at 6 pm and one at 8 pm. We would have to make reservations if we want to do it. Ask Charlotte and Angela if they would like to do that.

Hey JoAnne! FYI - if you haven't done so already..pick up a copy of the most recent 'Local IQ'. There is a nice section on wine and learning about wine. There is also an interview in there with Stewart from the Artichoke Cafe. Pick it up - I think you'll enjoy it!

JoAnne - it was a real pleasure meeting you and Charlotte (I hope that is her name :o) today. David and I really enjoyed visiting with the two of you. Looking forward to dinner and some wine at Artichoke Cafe the weekend of Sept. 6. We'll be in touch over the next couple of weeks to firm up those plans.

Hi JoAnne - wish I could. Been buried in work lately and trying to get on top of some house projects over the month or two. Am hoping to be able to come out and play in the next few weeks... Have fun and let me know what you think!
